Another shot of the sky from my Blackwater NWR shoot with *ImpedOut. We were kind of amazed as the sky went from dull gray to... this in a matter of minutes. We were watching the sunset when I turned around and saw this rainbow making its way across the sky.

I know the colors look highly processed, but its actually quite close to the actual sunset colors... as I said, one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen.

Camera: Canon EOS 60D
Lens: EF-S 10-22mm at 10mm
Shutter Speed: 0.6 seconds
Aperture: f/8
ISO 400
Filter(s): Lee 0.9 HE Grad ND

Minor curves adjustment and dodging in Photoshop.

Edit 6-03-2011: Brought the shadows up a bit in the trees on the left to even out the exposure, uploaded a slightly higher resolution.

Gorgeous! I love evenings when it seems that a sunset will be non-existent and then colors pop out of nowhere.

This is fantastic. Nice work!
And I'm desperately wanting that wide angle now...
