However after I calibrated my monitor, I realized that this image was way darker and way way way more blue than I originally intended. So I went back and made the snow actually look more like snow and re-edited the shot with a proper calibration.
I like the edit very much...now that I've been in the calibrated monitor world for a couple of years, it's frustrating thinking how many people are viewing our work without a calibrated monitor, huh?
Thanks! Yea I knew the original was blue, but I didnt realize just how blue it actually was. I figured I needed to make the colors more realistic and I am quite pleased with what came out of the edit.
I cant believe I ever did any editing at all without a calibrated monitor and yes, the thought that others might not be viewing my work the way they should kinda sucks.
