Went up to Glacier Point during my recent trip to Yosemite. Decided to stay for the sunset.
Normally I am not a fan of contrails in my shots, however, as everyone was focused on capturing just the mountains and the light falling on them, I looked up and noticed these two contrails almost framing off the scene with one off to the upper left and another aiming almost right down at half dome. I turned my polarizer to further darken the upper left corner hopefully creating a composition that allows you to at first take in the wonderful gradient in the sky and which then draws your eye right down to the beautiful light falling on Half Dome.
I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed taking it and sharing it with you.
