The bottom of Lower Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park. Capture early morning to get the nice rainbow.

Most of the other photographers around were doing the usual, trying to go wider and capture the whole falls. I saw a lot of good texture in around the bottom of the falls and decided to focus in close. I think this came away with an interesting composition as well as the great texture of the rocks.

Trying something new with processing. Experimenting with Luminosity Masks as well as the actions created by Tony Kuyper, along with his Luminosity Mask Triple Play. I think the results are pretty clear.
