An early morning shot of Half Dome taken from Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park. A thin layer of fog started to form over the ground before the sun came over the side of the mountains.

Processing: RAW Conversion, manual blend of two exposures for the sky and foreground using layer masks, and dodging and burning.

Nice Shot Matt! That Meadow is one of my Favorites to shoot from.. you can See everything from there.. Half Dome Looks AMAZING as always.. great Work!

Yea, it was a great place, I wish there was more mist... and some clouds in the sky for color, but of course, its such a great place even without that.

And if you are lucky enough to get to shoot there somewhat often, I envy you... Was my first time there in 13 or 14 years, since i was about 14 years old, and I hope I can go back sooner than another 13 or 14 years.

I have to Say it really is a Great Place.. I'm lucky enough to go there about once a month.. There was just some new fresh snow fall this weekend so I'm hoping got get up there in the next few days.. The winger in Yosemite is The BEST Time of year I think.. I really Believe its an Addiction!

Once a month! Definitely jealous. I have Shenandoah National Park by me, but I dont find it all that exciting and usually only end up there once or twice a year. Its definitely no Yosemite.
