Went for a photo safari with a professional photographer, Gilbert Van Reenen, while on vacation in New Zealand. It was quite an experience, he took us places most tourists probably never see and it was great having another photographer there to talk with and bounce ideas back and forth.
After a fun and at times educational drive through the Nevis Valley, we headed out for the day and stopped to get some last few shots. There was an extremely interesting rock formation and as this was the last real day of our trip I just knew the type of shot I wanted to take.
New Zealand was an amazing place, a secret, hidden place, and this shot captures that feeling perfectly for me.
