The island of Moorea in French Polynesia (12 miles from Tahiti) is one of the most jaw dropping beautiful places I have ever seen and probably one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
We drove around the two bays (seen below in the image) and they were just amazing. We finally found our way up a small little road to a lookout with a view of half the island.
I had originally planned to do an HDR panorama for this shot, and actually took 36 images here and processed them before realizing that I really did not like the way the HDR looked.
This is the non-HDR version, made up of 12 images, two rows stacked. The final image weighs in at 12528x4124 putting it just above 50MP.
Enjoy, and yes, be very jealous that you have not been there!
